Lam Dong, in Vietnam's Central Highlands, is a key coffee-producing region, contributing significantly to both domestic and international markets.

Total Area: 172,000 hectares
Annual Output: 515,000 tons
Arabica Area: 17,500 hectares (About 10% of total)
Despite being second to Dak Lak in area, Lam Dong leads in yield and production.

Altitude: 800m to 1,500m above sea level; Cau Dat - Da Lat up to 1,650m
Soil: Nutrient-rich red basalt, excellent water retention and drainage
Climate: Cool year-round (18°C to 25°C); rainy season (May-November) and dry season (December-April) ideal for coffee growth and harvesting

Cau Dat - Da Lat's Arabica coffee ranks among the world's best.
Attracts multinational interest: UCC, Starbucks, Nestle, OLAM, ACOM...
4. Sustainable Development
Certifications: UTZ, 4C
Developing five large specialty coffee areas: Di Linh, Lam Ha, Bao Lam, Duc Trong, Da Lat, and Lac Duong
Goal: 50-60% certified area for export-quality coffee
